COVID Safe Health Policy

Your health and safety is our top priority. Our team is working hard during this period.

Before your appointment, our staff will ask a set of standard questions regarding CO-VID-19 prior to your arrival at the centre. This is usually done at the time of booking your appointment.

If this has changed since booking your appointment, please contact us as soon as possible.

At commencement of your appointment, we will ask that you wash your hands in the clinical room. During the appointment we kindly request that you do not touch your mobile device. Prior to departure from the clinical space you will be requested to wash your hands again or use alcohol based hand rub if the appointment has involved the issue of a device and fitting to your mouth.

If you are dropping a device for repair or are bringing an existing device, please kindly place it onto the clinical space provided and wash your hands. Otherwise place it into a paper bag or box. Devices requiring adjustment will be placed into a solution of Sodium Hypochlorite (bleach) before acrylic removal. This is a standard practice implemented by dentists to kill oral microbial contamination.

Please do not place devices onto the administration area desk or hand devices to staff.

The clinic is cleaned as per set protocol with TGA approved products. If instruments are used during your appointment, these are sterilised in an Australian Standards Autoclave. Given the nature of the procedure involved, instruments are generally not required. All other materials are disposable.

This clinic uses the most advanced form of digital scanning, bypassing the need for mixing impression materials. All surfaces are wiped with highest grade medical biocides, before and after each patient. If you are kept waiting with a slight delay it is likely due to cleaning processes and technology calibration before you enter.

These are standard practices already in place as recommended by the Australian Dental Association healthcare guidelines. Rigid infection control protocol in Dentistry has been in place for over two decades. This policy is enforceable by the Dental Board and obligatory to all dental practitioners registered with AHPRA.

We thank you for your patience during this time.
